Knots -> Clinch Knot (also known as "Improved Clinch Knot")

The Clinch Knot - used to attach a fly to line:

diagram of how to tie a clinch knot

1. Thread the line through the eye of the hook, and make 5-7 turns around the line.

2. Thread the tag end of the line through the first loop (near the eye of the hook) and then through the large loop.

3. Lubricate, tighten, and trim. (kinda like wash, rinse, repeat)

Note: Remember to lubricate with water or spit before finishing any knot. This will reduce friction.
